In the world of timepieces, a new luxury watchmaker is making its mark: Pragma. Their mission begins with radical transparency. Every aspect of manufacturing—from raw materials to final assembly—is 100 percent Swiss-made. Pragma ensures that each watch is designed, produced, and assembled entirely in Switzerland. Customers can trace the origin of every component, and the timepieces are crafted using the most advanced materials and with a minimal carbon footprint.

One of the most exciting innovations is a patented process developed by Panatere, which uses solar energy and parabolic mirrors to extract and recycle stainless steel. Their movements, produced in partnership with Chronode SA, feature bridges and plates made from 100% recycled Grade 5 titanium.

The design of Pragma watches is pure, minimalist, understated, and sublime. Inspired by the clean lines and geometry of Swiss architects such as Märkli, Botta, and Zumthor, these small machines embody a fusion of form, function, and heritage. The simplicity of their design—alongside Pragma’s eco-conscious, modernist ethos—sets them apart from brands that indulge in flashier and, at times (in my opinion), garish, in-your-face branding. Think of it like those who remove the logos and model numbers from their high-end cars to achieve a cleaner, more discreet look. Pragma speaks to that same sensibility: people who value exquisite design and engineering over hype.

The watch face features secondary dials with rotating discs that reveal the seconds underneath. There are no large numbers—just clean, precise elements inspired by Swiss crafts-manship and tradition. The result is a beautiful harmony of simplicity, durability, and lightweight perfor-mance.
“Each Pragma timepiece blends nature’s beauty with Swiss precision. Our designs reflect the harmony of nature and human ingenuity, ensuring durability and innovation,”
— Kai Hsuan Liu, designer and co-founder.

Each watch is bespoke, allowing clients to choose and customize their bracelet. One standout option is a strap made of an innovative, sustainable material derived from mushrooms. Pragma has partnered with MycoWorks, a company that produces Fine Mycelium, a luxurious alternative to leather made from the root structure of Reishi mushrooms. The material is entirely free of animal products but can be crafted and finished like traditional leather. MycoWorks has attracted investors like Natalie Portman and John Legend, further underscoring its forward-thinking appeal.
Of course, Pragma also offers its signature metal bracelets or Cordura re/cor straps, made from a durable, canvas-like material, for those who prefer a more classic or performance-focused option.
And for those who want to own more than just a piece of exceptional design, there’s the limited edition Rose Gold 5N Dolomite Beige P1 Perseverance model. This striking timepiece is not only a statement in refined minimalism, but comes with 1% equity in the company. It’s a rare chance to literally invest in the future of sustainable Swiss watchmaking while wearing it on your wrist.

“Our watches honor our clients by elevating Swiss craftsmanship and minimizing environmental impact, setting a new benchmark in watchmaking,”
